About Me
A certified English nerd and a lover of Psychology and the science behind human behaviour, I’ve spent the last 3 and a half years learning to teach others about these things! When I’m not buried in a Jane Austen novel or the DSM-5 I enjoy playing netball, baking, writing, babysitting my nieces and nephews and (let’s be honest) Netflix.

About Me
While studying and working at University College and the University of Melbourne I have enjoyed learning and conducting research, and I have particularly developed a passion for teaching. Quality teaching depends on factors ranging from high-level curriculum design to individual student instruction. By completing a Graduate Certificate in University Teaching I am extending my skills across this range of factors. I still find the most satisfying thing is helping students understand concepts and methods that they previously struggled to understand. The creative challenge of generating novel ways to communicate ideas, and the look on a student’s face when it just “clicks”, are by far the best parts of teaching.
