I have previous experience tutoring the Indigenous Scholarship students at Scotch College Perth. Within this role I worked one on one with the boys, many of whom were struggling academically. For several years, I have volunteered at Skillz inc., a not-for-profit organisation that runs every week for all students wishing tuition. I tutor students from primary school through to secondary school in Maths and English to prepare them for higher education. My responsibilities include setting goals, providing feedback, liaising with parents, and building confidence and creativity in students.
I have also been a Music Teacher for the Australian Girls Choir for two years. During classes, I would teach concert repertoire, conduct class activities, and run leadership and team-building exercises.

Hi everyone! My name is Sophie and I would love to help you improve your grades. I am currently in my second year of an Arts degree, majoring in criminology and minoring in French. I am hardworking, enthusiastic, and really enjoy learning. Living on boarding taught me valuable lessons about managing social life with my studies. During my schooling career I also partook in extra-curricular Drama, having a large part in the composition of two plays which were performed at school.
I enjoy tutoring because of the satisfaction of knowing you established a repertoire with a student and ultimately was able to help them achieve. I function best when given the opportunity to interact with those with whom I work, and tutoring is a great basis for that.
