About Me
I am an experienced Tutor with a passion for education who has been living and tutoring in Berlin for the past two years. I enjoy finding new and innovative ways to support students study and to ensure that they are achieving their goals. I enjoy spending time with people and am very understanding of the challenges that students face. I excelled at all levels of the Australian education system, including at University, and feel confident and comfortable that I can help students to do the same.
In my time I like to pursue my artistic side and have recently been running art workshops for children and young adults, mostly in printmaking. I enjoy organizing public events for people to get together at and feel strongly that connecting with others is one of the most valuable ways to spend time. I also like to spend some time working in the garden!

Teaching and tutoring English overseas. Initially I taught as an assistant teacher in a high school and in the previous two years have been tutoring high school students learning English. They ranged from Year 7 students until final year secondary students. I developed appropriate study programs and techniques for their levels and students were always happy with my tuition.

About Me
Hello! I am a nationally-accredited Japanese to English translator who loves tutoring Japanese to enthusiastic students. I have lived and worked in Japan for most of the past 7 years in Japanese-speaking work environments, but am currently taking a long break from Japan to focus on freelance translation.
I tutor from my studio in the Maribyrnong area (I do not travel), where I have many authentic Japanese language materials such as comics, books, DS games and DVDs that I am happy to lend out to students for extra practice between lessons.
When I am not translating Japanese or Spanish, I enjoy playing the taiko drum (I trained for two years in Japan!), doing karaoke, playing video games and travelling overseas. My favourite video game is Ace Attorney and my next planned travel destinations are Japan and Belgium.

I have tutored Japanese for over 10 years. Previous students have received raw study scores of above 40 for VCE Japanese. I also work on boosting the confidence of students as they prepare for VCE Japanese oral examinations and listening tasks, and ensure understanding of grammar and content covered in their classes at school.
