About MeHi there! My name is James Dance and I graduated from Overnewton Anglican Community College in 2016 with an ATAR of 96.65. I am currently in my first year of a Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Melbourne, and have my eyes set on a career as an international lawyer. I am able to tutor Years 11 and 12 Literature and History: Revolutions (American and Russian Revolutions). I received a Raw Study Score of 44 for both of these subjects. I have also tutored Year 12 English. As an added bonus, you get to hear my views on philosophy and politics…FOR FREE! As a fresh VCE graduate, I am still quite connected to the VCE years, and can therefore provide a deep insight into its workings, as both a tutor and as a mentor. I also tutor Prep to Year 10 English, mathematics and humanities, as well as selective-entry and NAPLAN preparation. Success throughout school comes down to knowledge and enthusiasm. These are the two primary things I will be bringing to every tutoring session, in the hope that your own knowledge and enthusiasm expand beyond all boundaries. I am located in Sunbury, but I am happy to travel to students’ homes or meet at public libraries in Melbourne’s CBD, Northern Suburbs and Western Suburbs.
