About Me***CURRENTLY ACCEPTING STUDENTS FOR SUMMER HEAD-START PROGRAM*** Hi everybody. I am Andy Nguyen, an experienced tutor and a qualified secondary teacher in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Vietnamese at VCE Unit 1 – 4 level, as well as Maths and Sciences for Year 7 – 10. I am also a fluent Vietnamese speaker and I would love to help anyone who is interested in learning this language, either for leisure or academic purpose. To tell you about myself: I graduated from Brunswick Secondary College as the Dux of 2013 with an ATAR score of 99.15. I am currently a qualified secondary Science (Chemistry & Biology) and Mathematics teacher. For me, tutoring and teaching have always been a fulfilling experience. It provides me with the opportunity to reflect upon my knowledge, to give back something good to students, and to inspire them with a sense of enthusiasm and commitment. I have a strong passion for education which I would love to share with you, so I will always look forward to supporting you to achieve your greatest learning potential. Depending on your academic background, I will focus on solidifying fundamental concepts, clearing up misconceptions, and exploring many strategies that help you perform to the best of your ability and avoid making mistakes. For some subjects, I have a vast collection of worksheets and notes, which were personally prepared by myself as practice/revision materials. I am highly approachable and able to answer any questions related to any subjects outside the lesson times. While online tutoring (via Skype, Zoom, Google Meets, etc.) is currently my preference, I am more than happy to conduct face-to-face tutoring either at your home, University library, or a suitable local library.
