Since finishing VCE, I have been tutoring year 11 and year 12 students weekly. I have been teaching the following VCE subjects for the last 3 years; Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
My students have improved greatly via their lessons with me; one raising his Methods score from 60 average to 90+ test scores which gave him the opportunity to take up Maths Specialist in year 12. Through my encouragement and guidance, he was able to study Specialist which he did not believe possible until he started tutoring with me. His Physics scores also improved to a B+ and above while studying with me.
Another year 11 student, whom I have been tutoring for nearly a year now, has greatly improved her Methods and Chemistry scores, where she was initially considering dropping them. She is currently studying hard and achieving desirable scores in both subjects.

I am down to earth and organised. My tutoring style changes depending on my student; their ability to learn, their knowledge and their willingness to learn. Being a recent High School graduate I understand the pressures or Secondary School and will provide as much assistance as possible to relieve that pressure. I believe homework, practice and revision is important and needs to be done, but not in large amounts at one time. These should be spaced out and done in medium amounts; doing large amounts of homework at once sets students on the path of last minute cramming before major assessments and exams and should be avoided.
I currently attend The University of Melbourne (UoM), and am willing to meet at a library in UoM or perhaps a library in the city if it is more convenient for you.

I wish to utilise my teaching skills gained in previous tutoring jobs to help any student gain the advantage they require. I am studying Bachelor of Commerce, Diploma of French at Monash University. I always enjoy teaching others as I love to empower people through education. I volunteer with AMES to provide free lesson to migrants as I think they need the language skill to settle in Australia. I am Access Monash Ambassador to provide help to VCE students who are in low representative high school. I am passion to empower the minority group and people who are in need as I believe that education is the best way for them to live a better live.

I provided classroom tutorial lessons in Hong Kong in 2014. The students were in different year level, from Year 1 to Year 6. I provided lesson on Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), English, Mathematics and Science. Their grade had improved after under taking the tutorial lesson.
I also provided Cantonese lesson to two primary students in the beginner level. I crafted the teaching material and provide interactive lesson. They learnt a lot of basic Cantonese vocabularies and able to have basic Cantonese conversation.
I have taught an Accountant who had a deep interest in Cantonese. I crafted the lesson for him to suit his interest. At the end of the lessons, he was able to have basic conversation with his Chinese collages. He really enjoyed the way I taught and the culture part during the lesson.
My other student is an Apple employee who have a grate interest in Mandarin and Cantonese. He is learning both languages and hope that it can help his work as he has a lot of customers who speak those language. I focus on speaking and listening for this students and ensure he is learning useful conversation skills. He is improving and trying to learn the sentence structure

Since completing year 12 I have tutored students in Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Physics, Business Management and Accounting. Through my assistance many of my students have seen vast improvements in their subjects.
Hi, I am a student of University of Melbourne. But apart from studying, I enjoy tutoring and helping my students progress. Also, I like playing the piano and dancing. I work as a pianist at Chinabar. I was involved in a jazz annual production piece and a charity gig piece in Flare Dance Ensemble at university. I am also a member of the marketing committee for Chinese Cultural Society and a back stage crew for Chinese Theatre Group at university.
I achieved high grades and a high ATAR in my Year 12 which allowed me to pursue a field in Medicine at Melbourne University and I feel I owe a large portion of that credit to the teachers who were willing to help me through the year. I want to provide similar assistance to other students so they may also achieve their potential best. Aside from University and Tutoring, I enjoy playing guitar and some other musical instruments. I love watching movies and TV shows and also spending a little time in the gym to keep fit.
