About Me

My name is Ciara and I have been teaching primary school for the past five years. I am passionate about education and feel my time is best served supporting children. I believe tutoring is a great way to support struggling students or to give a child access to curriculum in a new and exciting way. In my spare time I love to sing and play my guitar. I often infuse music into my tutoring sessions to make it even more fun! I am looking forward to the opportunity of working with your child!

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching primary school full time for the past five years in New York City. In my spare time I have been tutoring several students to improve their reading and mathematic skills. For the past three years, my students have had the highest reading scores and highest reading growth of all second grade classrooms in my charter school network.
