Teaching Experience

In April 2013, I took the opportunity and underwent work experience at James AN college where I controlled multiple homework mathematics classes throughout the week consisting of Year 8 and Year 10 students. From there, I began working at Aim Tuition teaching Year 7-10 Mathematics, English as well as one-on-one Business Studies with a HSC student.

After being exposed to tutoring classroom environment, I decided to begin private tutoring and have been doing it on a weekly basis since the start of November, currently teaching my four students both Mathematics and English.
A reason for this decision was that I wanted to become more of a mentor to my students than an ordinary classroom teacher with a room full of students. It is satisfying and rewarding watching them gain confidence and a greater understanding in their school work and I believe an opportunity with Fuse tutor will allow me to help more students and contribute positively to their future success
I always look forward to the lessons with my current students and always come prepared a long time before the lesson. I take great joy and pride in tutoring and mentoring.
