High School Tutor/Mentor:

• The role involved extensive use of communicational and organisational skills, such as preparing teaching content, exam content and mentoring (for goals and careers) in order to guide my students successfully towards their career and overall aspirations. These students are aiming for a very successful HSC year and many aspire to secure possible seats in highly demanded degrees offered by leading universities.
• As a high school tutor and mentor I maintained contact with parents frequently; providing and discussing their child’s outcomes for the duration of their education.
• A key achievement was tutoring a student aspiring to achieve admission into mechanical engineering, initially struggling in Advanced Mathematics, he wanted to drop down to general mathematics for his HSC. However, I managed to inspire him by providing clarity in terms of his goals and made him realise his potential. At the completion of his HSC, the student received a Band 5 in Advance Mathematics, allowing him to progress and gain admission into tertiary education successfully.

Marketing Assistant:

• Promoting the organisation and see it grow rapidly to 400 students and 4 centres by 2012 (from approximately 70 students and one tutoring centre)
• Being a brand ambassador and representing S4S Coaching centre via marketing stalls at community events and public locations such as the Crestwood Fair, Indian Independence Day (Sydney Olympic Park) & High School Careers Expo’s across Sydney.
