About Me

I completed my Bachelor of Science (Zoology) at The University of Melbourne in 2015 and have begun a honors year also at UniMelb this year. I have experience tutoring VCE level Biology, as well as general science at high school level. I am enthusiastic and approach each tutorial prepared with a relaxed manner. I find tutoring a very rewarding activity as it allows me to help students understand concepts and apply their knowledge to subjects I am passionate about.

Teaching Experience

Volunteer primary school English/basic maths tutoring at local community centre (2010-11, Delacombe, Ballarat), volunteer classroom assistant at Ballarat Specialist School (2012), Tutoring VCE subjects Biology (1/2, 3/4) and Chemistry (1/2) via University Tutor (2013-14), Classroom assistant for In2Science program at Footscray Secondary College, year 9 science class (physics, chemistry).
