I am a second year medical student who loves teaching and working with kids. I love tutoring maths and science as I feel these are logical topics, that with patience and practise, anyone can master.

Teaching Experience

Working at Edu Kingdom for the past year. Tutoring classes of primary school students and also year 9 students hoping to gain entry into John Monash Science School. Have seen particular improvement from one student who is quite young and struggled a lot initially with focussing on the given task. Through patience and continued effort I have been able to help him achieve a greater level of productivity and ultimately better marks.

About Me

Teaching Experience

During the last two years I had the opportunity to take part in a number of primary school placements at culturally diverse schools around Melbourne. Here, I was in charge of teaching the curriculum, handling classroom management and working in a team environment. I also took the time to take up a number of volunteer opportunities to work with primary and secondary school students where I participated in the Literacy and Numeracy programs and as well as mentoring.

Teaching Experience

I worked at the Edmund Rice Centre tutoring ages 8 to 23 for a variety of subjects including VCE English, VCE chemistry, years 5 to 7 English, years 5 to 7 Methods and years 7 to 10 humanities. Students developed a deeper understanding of their material and consistently scored higher on tests and SACS. I worked consistently with a small number of students with varying ages, ability levels and English abilities to help them in all subjects.

I completed my Bachelor of Science (Zoology) at The University of Melbourne in 2015 and have begun a honors year also at UniMelb this year. I have experience tutoring VCE level Biology, as well as general science at high school level. I am enthusiastic and approach each tutorial prepared with a relaxed manner. About Me

I provide tutoring services because I believe that education is the best gift one can give. Inspiring a passion for education within younger students is what I strive for. Seeing them receive for that extra 10% on their test, getting the tricky question right the first time or even the 30th time, is the best part of what I do.

Teaching Experience

Since 2014, I have tutored over 30 different students from year levels ranging between 4 and 11. Many of my students have improved their marks by up to 40% and a few have also received scholarships or entrance to selective entry schools.

I am most comfortable tutoring primary school and early secondary school students in both Maths and Science as these are the subjects in which I have tutoring experience.

I have completed my Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne and am now completing my Masters in Secondary teaching also at the University of Melbourne.
