About Me

Teaching Experience

I have experience tutoring HSC History Extension students, concentrating on research skills, essay writing skills and recall and memory for exam-based assessments. During this time, my students boosted their confidence in these areas and improved upon their HSC Trial results in the final HSC exams by up to seven points..

I have also interned at the Powerhouse Museum’s Thinkspace program for the past eighteen months, teaching across a range of areas including music technology, video media and electronics. My internship with Thinkspace, has involved engaging workshop students within a museum educational context, including children from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds. My work in support of the Cool Science Program in National Science Week 2012 involved working with students with disabilities, as well as school groups from rural and remote areas.
