Experienced tutor
I have been tutoring students from my school in the subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics at an HSC level, since my completion of year 12. I have also been a qualified teacher in the Army Cadet Corps since 2011, and reached the rank of Cadet Under Officer at this level I was also required to both plan the teaching of my subordinates and assess others teaching. I enjoy the intellectual challenge of teaching/tutoring and love those “I get it moments”.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Sydney, having just completed a double degree in Chemical Engineering and Science. I’ve been tutoring Maths and Science subjects, up to HSC level, for a number of years now. As a lover of maths and science I find it incredibly rewarding when I can help students gain a greater appreciation of both.
I’m a Master of Commerce student studying at the University of Sydney who has had 3.5 years of tutoring experience across Mathematics and Science in coaching colleges as well as private tutoring. My passion for these two subjects has allowed me to transfer my knowledge and examination tips to various students in their schooling endeavours. I am always keen to help students grow and make progress in their schooling life. I enjoy playing tennis on weekends.
I am capable of speaking fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. I have an easygoing and friendly personality which makes others easy and comfortable to work with me. I enjoy tutoring because I like the satisfaction I get watching my students achieve their goals. I was also a student that got tutored back in high school so I understand how important a student gets extra bit of help to improve academic result.
I am a recent HSC graduate and would like the opportunity to become a tutor/teacher at your coaching college. I have achieved academic success in my high school career and would like to pass down my knowledge and experience to help others do the same.
I enjoy the struggle of helping a student to learn and the sense of satisfaction and pride when they make an improvement. I have been helping my peers from a young age when I would finish my work early, and was often the teacher’s helper when she was overwhelmed. Even today I help students at the university with subjects they may be having difficulty with and am pleased to say that they have shown remarkable improvement.

I have been tutoring ever since the completion of my HSC. I enjoy seeing my students achieve what they deserve and knowing that their hard work will pay off. I believe that in order to raise a student’s marks, both the student and tutor must put in effort. Therefore, I will work closely with you, pin point your weakness and tackle it together.
I was the section leader of the clarinet in my high school orchestra so naturally, I enjoy listening music and making music.
