Terms and Conditions

GENERAL

1.1 Fuse Tutor (A.B.N. 30 347 809 898) subcontracts its services to individual tutors who have been thoroughly screened.
1.2 Fuse Tutor does not accept responsibility for any issues including injury or damage to person or property that may arise during the tuition session between the tutor (sub-contractee) and the client (guardian and/or student).
1.3 Fuse Tutor and its tutors are not liable for lost profits, direct or indirect, special or incidental, consequential or punitive, or damages of any kind whether or not they were known or should have been known.
1.4 The guardian or student may be required to verify completed or cancelled tuition sessions with Fuse Tutor. This documented verification will be referred to if any disputes arise regarding tuition services rendered.
1.5 Payments are to be paid direct to Fuse Tutor. Tutors do not accept payments in cash or any other form as a safety precaution due to their commute to various lesson locations.

CANCELLATIONS

2.1 Cancellation or rescheduling a tuition session with less than 24 hours notice given to Fuse Tutor or the tutor will incur a half lesson cancellation fee; that is 50% of the full tuition session fee. This fee may be waived in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of Fuse Tutor.
2.2 The Client is entitled to cancel their service with Fuse Tutor without incurring any cancellation fees subject to payment of any outstanding fees. A credit will be issued to the Client if there is a positive prepaid balance less any outstanding fees.
2.3 In the event that the tutor is unable to conduct a lesson due to illness or circumstances outside their control, Fuse Tutor reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule the lesson with reasonable notice given to the Client.

LATE PAYMENT

3.1 Fuse Tutor at its discretion may suspend or cancel lessons if payments are overdue.
3.2 Prepaid payments (internet banking transfer) are deemed to be overdue after a lesson has been completed and payment has not been received by Fuse Tutor for the conducted lesson/s.
3.3 A late payment fee of $10.00 is charged on the 31^st day for accounts overdue for more than 30 days and will recur every 14 days until the account is zero or in credit.
3.4 The Client is liable to pay Fuse Tutor all debt collection and legal costs (on an indemnity basis) which is incurred by Fuse Tutor in recovering overdue fees from the Client.

REFUNDS

4.1 If prepaid payments are made for a scheduled lesson, the Client is entitled to a refund for unattended lessons less any late payment or cancellation fees incurred as per clauses 2.1 to 2.3 and 3.1 to 3.4. 4.2. Refunds will be issued to Clients within 21 days upon Fuse Tutor receiving a request for a refund.

PRIVACY

5.1 Your personal information will remain confidential and protected by Fuse Tutor. Fuse Tutor may disclose this personal information to your tutor, credit reporting agencies and/or third parties as part of provision of our Tuition Services and for overdue accounts to debt collection agencies to recover amounts owing.
